Linen Care Guide

Linen is one of the world's most cherished textiles

Beloved for its breathability, softness, and timeless elegance. Despite its natural charm, linen is incredibly easy to care for. With a little thoughtful attention, you can ensure your favourite pieces remain part of your story, season after season.

How to Care for Your Linen Clothing

  • Wash Sparingly Linen doesn't need frequent washing. If it's not soiled, simply air your garment by laying it flat in a shaded, well-ventilated space for a day or two.

  • Machine Wash with Care When washing is needed, use a cold, gentle cycle with like colours and a mild, earth-friendly detergent. We recommend using a delicates bag to preserve the fabric.

  • Spot Clean Gently For small marks, use cool water and a natural soap. Dab gently—never rub or twist the fabric.

  • For Delicate Items For more delicate knits and cashmere, we suggest a cold hand wash with a wool-specific detergent. Swirl gently and always dry flat in the shade to avoid stretching.

  • Skip the Tumble Dryer Heat can damage linen's natural structure. Instead, air-dry your garments flat or hang in a shaded area, avoiding direct sun exposure for long periods.

  • Steam or Press A handheld steamer is our favourite way to remove creases. If you prefer an iron, use a low temperature and press gently while the garment is still slightly damp.

Soft. Simple. Sustainable.

Our linen garments are hand-selected from fine, natural fibres, made with love and tradition in every thread. When cared for well, your linen will only get softer and more beautiful with time.
